This is nothing more than a rambling, over-long meditation on her inability to settle down with a decent guy and lead a purposeful life. Although it was easy to consume she did interject it with some deeper thoughts, especially at the end, which I appreciated. Some of her observations remind me of Dorothy Parker's, spitting out thoughts must of us could never say out loud.
I can figure out why men are drawn to her. This book was lighthearted and humorous.

Smyles' humor is engaging, witty and at times, absurd. I was not expecting a work of literature, but I wasn't expecting a tedious list of un-funny jokes either.
There are many funny and half-profound one-liners about the life of the single girl trapped in the dreary life of endless one-might stands I found this book at the airport and can recommend it as an airplane read but nothing more. Having already purchased Teach Yourself Greek!
