How to know if dating is going well, why we're becoming less picky when choosing romantic partners
We have gone on trips together, discuss the future, text all day every day, have met some of each others friends, etc. When he wanted to be intimate after that, I told him that its going to lead to me liking him eventually and he said he was fine with that.
Sorry if this is sloppy I tried to spark note a year and 4 months worth of stuff.
As soon as you leave, he gets scared. Aside from the formal discussions, game-changing decisions and Kodak moments, there are some subtler ways of knowing if things are going from gray to golden. I was too afraid to get hurt and like how I felt when we were together to jeopardize anything.
So I backed off and he stepped up. After all, even the lottery winners had to buy a ticket which pretty much means they had to invest something to be able to hope something even better will eventually happen to them. If you bring up love at first sight, inevitably everyone and their dog is gonna have a different opinion.
July 25, at 8: Things were cool between us, but because of pressure from friends I HAD to bring it up again and now the uncertainty is getting to me. Pretty spot-on, I think. Would like an outsiders perspective and advice. Or do I need to give him more time?
My general advice following break ups is a clean break. He was married but I was not even though the guy I was previously with I was basically married to also lived with him, had kids, been together for almost 5 years … We met through a mutual friend.

I ended up talking to him on the phone and it was awful. Dating is probably the most annoying and crazy thing I have ever had to do, but I do know this.
He said it made him feel like a hedonist because he sometimes feels like he should have just settled for a lifestyle — one that has now drastically changed. Naturally i was in full remorce mode.
If you aren't a little frightened by the intensity of a really good relationship, you're probably a robot.
