Your friend dating your ex, follow us, losers
1. Ask for Respect
Don't ever make your mate choose between you and your ex because this will cause even bigger problems. Though it is tough seeing them together, stay away from them for a while, until you are ready to talk or say something positive to both of them.
Talk to your friend: One point I wholeheartedly agree with: Why or why not? Is she going to be giving out her number to my friends? Christian guys are boring and unattractive.
Go to mobile site. This is the best you can do at this time where everything is spinning around. But I do want to know what yours friends dating your ex her up in the morning.
I know the world we live in now is based on the principle of forward momentum — eyes to the fore, sights set on future goals and opportunities. And I get it. Some Christians have lousy jobs and some quarterback Super Bowl teams.
She can make fun of herself and she can make fun of me, and not necessarily in that order. It seemed too good to be true.
Consider the problem.
Consider why this person is your ex. Of course, there are varying degrees of gravity -- a former fling may be less of a big deal than a serious relationship, and if we're talking about a recent ex-husband or ex-wife and your friend, well, then, we'll go out on a limb and say that perhaps you should reconsider your friendship unless there is an extremely unique circumstance.
Stepping away from that, or even trying to be more discerning with its use, can be a great exercise in self-control. A man who is inordinately image-conscious, whose sense of humor skews a bit too much on the risque side, who seems to like to play the victim?
Whether we realize it or not, the way we live reveals what we care about the most. Obviously it's not fun to find out that you and your friend have called the same dude your boyfriend at one time or another.
